If you are trying to index Vignette with MOSS make sure don’t attempt it without the Infrastructure Update and registry changes to the index server to accommodate case sensitive URL’s where relevant. Then try different start URL’s for the content source and of course create crawl rules for the complex URL’s again if this is relevant to the Vignette specific implementation. And client cookie requirements on the start page can also impact SharePoint’s ability to begin crawling the Vignette start address.
